Gratitude365- The Fire Fighter (KNM#294)

Last weekend we visited with Michael as the tiny community of Shelter Valley opened a new fire station. Michael has been working/training there for eight months. I was a very proud parent as I learned of Michael’s persistent and dedicated efforts at the station. He is well-liked and respected among his fire-fighting peers. I am grateful for what he has accomplished.

Gratitude365- Thanksgiving Day Fun (KNM#293)

I am grateful for a fun gathering at our home yesterday. We set up an “ad hoc” photo booth in the dining room and gave everyone a chance to express themselves. Fun family memories are wonderful.

Gratitude365- Memories of David (KNM#292)

The holiday break has given us an opportunity to gather as a family and share our love for and sweet memories of David. I am grateful for tender and uplifting feelings as I have reviewed some of my journal entries pertaining to David. He is a wonderful person. I am grateful for the Lord’s mercies that bless in times of need.

Gratitude365- Full-time Mission (KNM#291)

A full-time mission is an unparalled experience. A young man is taken out of the world and asked to dedicate his every energy to serving others and helping them draw closer to Jesus Christ. It is hard work but it is exhilarating. Elder Smith, in the above image, loves his opportunity to serve as a missionary in South Africa. Personally, my life has been blessed in abundance as a result of my mission service in Argentina.

Gratitude365- Richard (KNM#290)

We have had a wonderful family gathering for Thanksgiving and at the same time we celebrated Richard’s birthday. We call him the “glue” for his important role in promoting unity in the family. I am thankful for his consistent example of thoughtfulness, kindness, service and love.
