All Things Denote There is a God- Spring will Come

Winter solstice is here, occurring sometime between December 21st and December 22nd in the northern hemisphere. As we approach the winter solstice, the darkness of night lengthens and the duration of daylight decreases. Winter solstice is the turning point, after which, the length of darkness begins to decrease and the length of daylight begins to increase. The dark and bright seasons of our lives are similar. At times, sadness, affliction and despair may seem to fill an increasing space in our lives. During those seasons, it is hard to see with the light of optimism, faith, and trust in God. Yet God, through the beauties of nature’s cycles, teaches us that Spring will always come. Excessive darkness and discouragement will give way to increasing light and hope and peace. The pattern is set in God’s creations. May we learn from this master illustration that He loves us and will not leave us alone no matter how long and dark our current situation. May we trust Him and have hope in His blessings and miracles.

All things denote there is a God.
