Gratitude365- Temple Blessings (KNM#36)
I am growing to appreciate more deeply the temples of the Church. They are special places of peace and worship. They are special places to feel of the Lord’s plan for us as families. I was able to attend the Manhattan Temple this past weekend and had a wonderful experience. I am grateful to God for making His temples available to us.
Gratitude365- Bright Colors (KNM#35)
I love bright colors. I had a recent stroll through Central Park in New York. It was a gray, overcast day with Spring still around the corner. Yet there were elements of life in the park that made for meaningful images. A bubble maker was present, adding fun and color to an otherwise drab backdrop of leafless trees and gray cement. These bright, floating, fleeting, bubbles brought smiles and intrique to the onlookers that day. I was glad to be there.
Gratitude365- Joy of a Child (KNM#34)
Children are care free. They find joy in the present, in almost all situations. They do not worry about the past or the future.
We were on the train leaving New York when this young neighbor joined our world by peering through the crack in the seats. He was thrilled to catch glimpses of the short music video that Michelle was watching on my phone. I can learn a lot from the simple world of a child.
Gratitude365- New York (KNM#33)
I am grateful to spend a few days in New York. It is a treat to break away from the routines of life and see a less-familiar part of the country. We stayed with some dear friends and among other things had a wonderful stroll through Central Park. Although the skies were mostly overcast, our experiences these past few days have been very bright.
