Gratitude365- Apple (KNM#276)

I am amazed at the ways technology has entered and enriched my life in the last 5 years. I try not to let technology become the issue, in and of itself. But used appropriately, technology extends our reach and provides new ways to serve those around us. There are many innovative leaders, but Apple has led the way with an amazing array of products and services in recent years. Love or hate Apple, they have changed the world. I am grateful to have a small bite of Apple in my own life.

Gratitude365- My Mission (KNM#275)

With the perspective of time, I look back at my full-time mission service with a very grateful heart. It was a two-year experience that critically shaped my life as a young man. It was there that I grew substantially in my convictions of the reality of God and of his love for me, one of his many sons. Argentina is a beautiful country with beautiful people. I hope to return there someday.

Gratitude365- The Bishop (KNM#274)

In the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, the Bishop is the Lord’s shepherd who cares for the temporal and spiritual welfare of his flock (a ward). He plays a critical role in the earthly and eternal happiness of his ward members. Tonight I give thanks for my bishop, Anibal Sabate. He is filled with love and his energy is endless in meeting the needs of all who are within his reach. I am grateful for his optimism, his faith, and his genuine concern for each individual in his life. He is one of my heros.

Gratitude365- Sock Angel (KNM#273)

The sock drawer was empty. What was I to do? Michelle has been so good to keep me in clean socks over the years. I didn’t want to ask her again to wash for me. (After all, I could wash my own. Right?) Well before I ventured to ask for her help, I found this string of clean socks in the bathroom. They must have been done by the sock angel. I was so happy that I didn’t have to ask Michelle for her help.

Gratitude365- Grayson the Great (KNM#272)

The other end of a feeding tube never looked so good. I am grateful I could see Grayson tonight with his dear parents. Their journey has been challenging and long. But God has blessed this young family with those things that matter most. May they have many seasons of joy and peace.
