Gratitude365- Jilly Bean (KNM#59)

Jilly is the sparkplug of the glaucoma team engine. Her energy, her wit, and her love for people go a long way in connecting the dots with patient care and with patient relationships. I am thankful for her dedication over many years to the welfare of our patients and our practice.

Gratitude365- Mother Superior (KNM#58)

At least that is what she is called by one of our patients. Beth is the new clinical supervisor at Shepherd Eye Center. She took time yesterday to have a retreat of sorts with the glaucoma team (at least with glaucoma team 2). She stayed with us during the morning, observing our process, taking notes along the way. After that, we all went to lunch together. Beth, in her gifted way, shared some very insightful ideas and delivered them in Bethonian fashion- in just the right way for all of us. The following video is from the end of our luncheon and is NOT Beth approved. Oh well, I suppose she will get over it or at least know the best way to reprimand me.

Gratitude365- One More Time (KNM#57)

Did I mention that I love calla lillies? This one from a new angle taken at night. I love the detail in the flower wall. It is the perfect prelude to the Easter season.

Gratitude365- Evidence of God (KNM#56)

This idea intrigues me, that all things bear record of God. Both temporal and spiritual things, all of them, witness of Him. My part is to learn to see and appreciate these evidences that surround me each day.
The scripture below is from the sixth chapter of Moses.

Gratitude365- Living in the Moment (KNM#55)

I am learing to live in the moment, enjoying the blessing of happy and tender moments that are all around us. I saw this video on-line yesterday and it really touched me. I loved seeing this new bride and her father break tradition and do something that was fun for them and fun for the guests. They truly enjoyed the moment, and preserved a great memory for all at the reception. I actually got teary eyed on this one, as I appreciated the power of enjoying the current moment.
